Dear Buyer

We knew this was our home the moment we pulled up to 44 Euclid. We had been looking outside of Albany but never considered living in the city. We loved the beautiful curb appeal and tree lined street. We could envision ourselves sitting on the front porch enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise. And our vision came true.

We have since enjoyed our front porch for the last 15 years, and raised our children here as well. We have become best friends with our neighbors and have decided to move together because we will miss each other too much. My children consider them their grandparents next door.

Forty-four Euclid was built in the 1920’s and we bought it from the builder’s daughter. We are only the second family to live here. We love the character and charm of this home and have updated the kitchen and bathrooms to be more functional for our family. We also added a composite deck in the yard to enjoy our time outside.

The best part about living on Euclid is the location. You can walk a few blocks and be at Buckingham Pond, our favorite place to go and play at the playground and visit the ducks. We love to fish in the summer and ice skate in the winter. The Pond is a wonderful gathering place for the neighborhood, we have made many friends there. We also love walking to the library, grocery store, bars, coffee shop, movie theater, and local restaurants. The Pointe is one of our favorites. Within minutes we can be on Route 85, with access to both major interstates. Wolf Road is only five miles away – ideal for shopping at Whole Foods, Colonie Center Mall, Target, and more. Euclid is the best of both worlds, living in the city with caring neighbors who look out for one another.

We hope you are able to enjoy our home as much as we have! We wish you the best!
